Harrison Mixbus 5 $19!
This morning I received an email offer from Harrison Consoles to purchase Mixbus 5 for $19. Also I can purchase Mixbus 5 plus 5 plugins for %39. Here is a link to their page with a demo version available.

Cool Lamar!
the character bundle is $29 instead of $79 if you put it in your cart. I never got a notice it was on sale,it was quite by accident. If you click specials on the web page it lists nothing, lol

Len:
I bought Mixbus 5 without the plugins. I spent some time with the demo version. I'm hoping that this works out. I've tried several different DAW programs. I liked some aspects of all of them. The layout of Mixbus makes the most sense to me. Perhaps we can compare notes on the program as time goes by.

hey Lamar
That's the beauty of mixbuss imo, in it's basic form there's really no need to use plugins, it's a virtual console. There are numerous channel strip emulations, but they aren't integrated as a daw like Harrison is, they are hosted inside a daw.

Len, I am still experimenting with Mixbus and some plugins that I like a lot. Very mixed results. So far, I like the sound of Mixbus best on guitar-oriented music. Do you use a surface controller device? I run across them used frequently. I've never gotten one because they wouldn't work with my other DAW.That's the beauty of mixbuss imo, in it's basic form there's really no need to use plugins, it's a virtual console. Have a great evening!

I've used Harrison Mixbus with a control surface, (a Tascam, under Mackie Control Emulation) and my experience was pretty seamless; no issues with automation.

Hey Mojo:
Sorry that I couldn't respond sooner. I could read your post, but couldn't reply. Great to know about the surface control. I'm going to look at one in the first quarter of 2019. Stay tuned for further developments!

I bought a $15 pass for a month, as there were a few courses and videos I wanted to see. I've watched them, and have 3 more weeks to review, lol. Really great courses imo!LamarPecorino wrote: ↑Sun Dec 30, 2018 5:20 amGroove 3 has a video training series on Mixbus 5. It is 3 hrs 27 minutes worth the information for $30.
