Hey Mark,

I’m inspired by the TAXI success stories I’ve heard as well. Especially yours because, you seem to definitely want to pay it forward to your fellow members and I really get that! I also, appreciate that a lot!!

Keep up the great work, Mark and congratulations on your success!

Dan
Thanks so much, Dan!

I absolutely do want to pay it forward, and I try to when I can! This community is one of a kind that's for sure. The pay it forward mentality is such a big part of it. There's been SO many people who went above and beyond to help me and show me the way, the least I could do is to keep that going if I can!

Imagine how productive Mark will become, when he goes fulltime! And it looks to me as if this will be the case sooner rather than later given his impressive trajectory. Tom
That's the dream!! Thank you, Tom!

Congratulations Mark and thank you for sharing. Great that you are starting to get the placements. Here’s for you adding a zero or two to you placement numbers :)
All the best and happy writing.

Thanks, Asbjorn!!

Man that'd be super cool! Someday!

Congrats Mark ! You are storming it Bro.

I know we started at the same time so you are a good yardstick , our years one and two numbers are pretty identical.

But year 3 you have just rocketed past. .. got around 5 placements here last year , some decent ones..Catfish , a couple in KUWTK. 5 is less than I had hoped for, 20 would have been good...but jeez..80 ! That really is exponential. I know we are Library buddies in at least a couple of places, so if you feel like messaging to break those numbers down a little more I'm interested !

Mark
Thank you very much, Mark!! As I just mentioned in another comment, those numbers are slightly misleading (unintentionally). My first two placements were in December of 2017, and then they continued to come in January (2018). So it wasn't like I had 2 placements earlier in 2017 then had nothing til 2018. Once they started coming in, it was fairly regular that I'd get them, and it's only been picking up speed faster and faster.

I'd be more than happy to message and break things down a bit. Yes 2 of the libraries we both write for have gotten me almost all of those placements. A third library has gotten me maybe a dozen or so at this point, but that one seems to be picking up speed too and I signed with them after the other 2, so things feel on track.

Great story Mark, very inspiring!! Thanks for sharing and for providing insight to people who might be on the fence about TAXI, especially the Road Rally. I can definitely relate because the Road Rally has been pivotal for me as well!

Keep killing it bro!
Thanks, Terrell!! Appreciate the kind words my man!

Mark, I didn't think it was misleading at all. You still went from almost nothing to 80 in only a year, and that is great!

Great post and great success Mark. You've got the skills and the ear, I envy you! I wish I had tax when I was in my 20s. ;)
