Should I submit two different versions

Post by RustyP » Sun Jan 20, 2019 2:07 pm

Hey folks,
There is currently a listing which is looking for a song with the same vibe as "somewhere over the Rainbow" that song is temped in.
I have a song which is similar, but I have a bass pinning it down. It could sound ok with no bass, though I like it with bass.
Your thoughts:
Should I submit two versions, or is that not cool?

Thanks!
Rusty

Hey Rusty.

I'd send in both.

I agree. I've sent multiple versions of songs in and had one version returned and the other forwarded.

And we have a winner! Well, two.
The listing closed last night and I got an email this afternoon saying they had forwarded both versions. :)
I hadn't really expected that so I'm pretty excited.

Congrats on the forward! And wow, that’s probably the fastest turnaround on a listing I’ve seen. Less than 24 hours between submission closing and decision.
