ORIGINAL CUMBIA INSTRUMENTALS are needed forseveralup to $500, NON-Exclusive, Direct-to-Music-Supervisor placements in an Indie Feature Film. This Music Supervisor is currently looking for Mid-to-Up-Tempo Instrumentals in the same general stylistic wheelhouse as the references she provided to us:

"Mi Cumbia" by Ramon Rapain

"Cumbia en Do Menor" - Rafael “Lito” Barrientos

"Ritmo de Tambo" - La Sonora Dinamita

NOTE: Please listen carefully to the references and submit Instrumentals that you feel would work perfectly on the same playlist with them. They’re NOT looking for clones or soundalikes! Similar tempo, energy, and overall vibe? Yes. Clones? No!

Please send them ORIGINAL, well-crafted Cumbia Instrumentals that have the general Latin-vibe and authenticity of the references above. Your Instrumental production should use traditional Cumbia and Latin Instrumentation such as (but not limited to) Acoustic Guitar, Timbales, Güira, Trombone, or Trumpet, to give your piece a genuine Latin feel. Contemporary or vintage Instrumentals can be submitted for this pitch, as long as they generally fit with the style and vibe of the reference.

NOTE: These will be used in various scenes in the film including bar source, so please make sure your Instrumental is able to play in the background without being too distracting.

Do NOT copy the referenced artists or songs in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a guide for tempo, texture, and tone. Broadcast Quality is needed.

The estimated license fee for this placement is between $250 - $500, depending on the ultimate use. This is a Non-Exclusive, Direct-to-Music Supervisor placement, so you’ll keep 100% ownership of your Copyright and Master Recording, plus you’ll also get 100% of the Master License Fee and any applicable performance royalties. You must own or control your Copyright and Master Recording to pitch for this opportunity. Please submit as many Instrumentals as you’d like, online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis - No full critiques. Somebody from the Music Supervisor’s team is slated to screen submissions for this, time permitting. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59 PM (PST) on Tuesday, February 12th, 2019. TAXI #Y190212CS

Well, since I'm submitting also to this listing...

Sound to me more like a R&B inspired cha-cha...
Accordion is good but comes too late in the song.
Your bass sound would be more in the ''mood' an octave lower with EQ directed on the bottom to make sound as an Ampeg Baby bass.
(Google it, you'll se what I mean, it's very boomy and dark)
Cumbia is an Columbian native style...

My two cents man,
Hope this helps.
