Hello Everyone:

First, thank you for all the great comments on our song. This process of collaboration has been a great one for me. I do not normally work in the country music genre but lately find that my style of writing seems to match the style more than pop. It has been a real joy to work with Peter and I really am excited about where this piece of music may go. We didn't start this with any listing in mind (well, I did compose the instrumental for a listing that was returned). So since we are talking about it, what kind of listing do you all think this would be good for (I have an idea, but I would like to see what everyone else thinks, maybe something there I have not thought of. :o ).

Again, thank you again for all the comments. I will see you all soon.

Hi Peter!
I really enjoyed that!
Hats off to the two of you!
It seems like the two of you write exceptionally well together.
Really liked the lyrics and melody... Having made the drive to Nashville a number of times, I really relate to your lyrics.

That was a joy to listen to Peter! Great lyrics! Great music track and playing Charles! There is a Robin Frederick lyric/song feedback every 5 weeks or so online you may want to consider attending for her input! I have found it very valuable! (Plus its really fun!)

I think if you sign up for her newsletter you get the date she has it. Or PM me to remind me and I will let you know when it is..

Best of luck with your song!

Thank yous, to Linda & Ben.
At this point, I'm on the hunt for a great pair of vocalists - male/female duet - to make the song really SING!
Will post up link to the new/proof-mix when it gets done.
Cheers.

Hey Charles and Peter,

I knew you guys would get great feedback on this the first time I heard it! Thanks for that Peter!

Charles, I know you would like to know what genre/listings to submit this to but you and Peter have written such a positive and upbeat tune.. I think you guys have it right with, a Modern Country song.

Very positive and uplifting.

Great job guys,

Thanks, again - Dan... and Conrad; the positive feedback is really encouraging.
For what it's worth - San Diego's KSON radio plays and advertises this type of genre as "New Country"; so that's where I see it fitting in.
