3 for 3 with Hawaiian Listing

Post by GuitarKit » Tue Mar 05, 2019 3:47 pm

Thought I'd try for this listing to pull out the old Dobro and given a whirl. I knew there was a reason I haven't given it back to my friend. Hopefully, he's forgotten about it.

ORIGINAL, HAWAIIAN and ISLAND-STYLE INSTRUMENTALS are needed by a U.K.-based Music Library that's using TAXI as its primary resource for a large-scale catalog expansion. Please submit Instrumentals in All Tempos in the stylistic wheelhouse of the references below:

Aloha-Oe Song by Hawaiian Daikikies

Ukulele Dance by Derek & Brandon Fiechter

Please submit original, well-crafted Instrumentals with plenty of Island spirit. Your arrangement should include Instrumentation that’s typically heard in the various forms of Island music such as ukulele, lap steel, steelpan/steel drum, marimbas, slack-key guitar voicings, etc., etc. Solo instrumentals, smaller ensembles, and full bands will all work well, as long as your piece sounds authentic and has that Hawaiian/Island vibe that they seek.

Congratulations! Listening to Mai Tai's At Sundown now, nice track! Definitely got that island feel.

Congratulations on the forwards!

Thanks every one. It's been a bit of a slow start to the year with health issues and my DAW developing some kind of bug and crashing all the time.
