Contemp Pop/Rock Instrumentals w Non-Lyrical Vocal Parts

Post by FMstereo » Sun Mar 03, 2019 2:26 am

I'm a little late in posting this, but Scott Free and I got a couple of forwards for the listing below.

Goin' Places (Inst+BGV) and Nothing's Written In The Stars (Cue+BGVs) are both on my Taxi page;
https://www.taximusic.com/hosting/home.php?artist=F-M
CONTEMPORARY POP/ROCK INSTRUMENTALS with NON-LYRICAL VOCAL PARTS are needed for a NON-Exclusive, Direct placement in a Digital/Online Commercial. They’re eager to find Mid-to-Up-Tempo Non-Lyrical Instrumentals in the general stylistic ballpark of the following references:

“I Like It” by the Highfields

“What We Live For” by American Authors

“Counting Stars” by OneRepublic

Although these references have vocals, this request is for Instrumentals with non-lyrical vocals, only (ooo’s, aaah’s, lala’s, hey’s etc). NO straight Instrumentals and NO Full Songs, please.

Please submit contemporary, energetic, well-produced Pop/Rock. Your light, non-lyrical vocal can be performed by Male or Female voices, or both. Your submissions should have fun, catchy melodies, engaging rhythms, and typical Rock Band instrumentation. If you’re going to be using samples or Virtual live Instruments, please make sure they sound convincing and realistic!

TAXI Tip: Please be sure your Instrumental has some variety in dynamics and some forward momentum. Whether it's a result of adding and subtracting layers of instrumentation or an energy build, these changes will help keep the spots from dragging and will give the editor musical moments to highlight.

Your submissions should be at least 1 minute long (give or take). Non-Faded, Buttoned/Stinger endings only, please! Please do NOT copy the referenced artists or songs in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, texture, tone, and overall vibe. Broadcast quality is needed.

Fees will be discussed at a later date, as no budget information was given. You’ll keep all ownership of the Copyright and Master Recording, but you won’t be able to license your song for any other Commercials for the duration of the term of the agreement, which will be determined by the Ad Agency and you. You must own or control the Master and Composition rights to pitch for this opportunity. Please submit as many Instrumentals as you’d like, online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis - No full critiques. Somebody from the Production House team is slated to screen submissions for this. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59 PM (PDT) on Sunday, February 17th, 2019. TAXI #Y190217PR
