Swag rock forwards!

Post by ResonantTone » Wed Mar 13, 2019 4:43 pm

Pretty excited about some recent forwards. I got 3 out of my 4 submissions to the listing forwarded!

If I’m totally honest, I am a little disappointed about the one that got returned. I thought it was my strongest one!

Here are the ones that got forwarded:
https://soundcloud.com/resonanttonemusi ... ing-points
https://soundcloud.com/resonanttonemusi ... -your-step
https://soundcloud.com/resonanttonemusi ... y-knuckles

The one that got returned:

Shooting for 4 out 4 for the next one!

Andrew

ROCK INSTRUMENTAL CUES with lots of SWAGGERare needed by a High-End Music Library with tons of credits in big Feature Films, countless TV Shows, and TV Commercials. They’re looking for Mid-to-Up-Tempo Instrumental Cues that would fall within the general wheelhouse of the following references we got from our client:
Swagger Rock Example 1
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/4pefbatj7smi ... rock+1.mp3

Swagger Rock Example 2
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/4pefbatj7smi ... rock+2.mp3

Swagger Rock Example 3
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/4pefbatj7smi ... rock+3.mp3

Swagger Rock Example 4
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/4pefbatj7smi ... rock+4.mp3

NOTE: They’re open to Rock Instrumentals that include non-lyrical vocals (ooo’s, aaah’s, lala’s, hey’s etc.)
Please send them well-crafted, guitar-driven Rock Instrumental Cues that have a big, edgy & bold sound and vibe. Your Instrumental Cues should have solid musicianship, anthemic melodies, and hard-hitting rhythms. Your Cues should stick to a central motif from beginning to end while adding and subtracting layers of additional instrumentation as your Cue progresses to keep from sounding too repetitive or linear. Please avoid sending in anything that that sounds stiff, synthetic, or obviously MIDI-driven.
TAXI TIP: Adding some live instrumentation over your Virtual tracks could help with giving it a “real deal” feel. Reaching for real guitars and drums from the start might be an even better way to go if you can swing it!
All submissions should be approximately 2 minutes long, give or take. Good edit points (when possible) and Non-Faded Buttoned endings are preferred. Broadcast Quality is needed.
