Original Irish Instrumentals +
I'd love it if you could give a listen to Green As the Land and let me know if I should rerecord it before the screener listens to it! I was recording & mixing way into the night before the deadline and only had written the second half of the tune that day! Thanks!

ORIGINAL IRISH and CELTIC INSTRUMENTALS and/or CUES are needed by a hot U.K.-based Music Library that’s been signing a lot of TAXI members to keep up with growth caused by increasing demand. They’re eager to find Mid-to-Up-Tempo Instrumental Cues in the general stylistic ballpark of the following references:
"Coalminer's Set" by The O'Neill Brothers Group
“The Farmer's Frolic” by Gaelic Storm
Please submit well-crafted Instrumentals and/or Instrumental Cues that are quick to establish location, like something you’d hear in a documentary or a travel show. In other words, as soon as the music plays, you're transported to Ireland. They’re open to hearing all sorts of Irish music: from Traditional Celtic Folk Instrumentals to more Contemporary Irish styles.
Your instrumentation can include pipes, bodhran, fiddles, and whistles, etc. – the more realistic-sounding, the better. If you’re using samples or Virtual Instruments to create your Cues, please be careful to avoid anything that sounds synthetic and/or obviously MIDI-driven. Overdubbing a real instrument on top of your samples could be a great way to make your material sound more authentic!
NOTE: They are happy to hear full-length Instrumentals as well as shorter Cue-style instrumentals. Non-Faded, Buttoned/Stinger endings will work best for this request. Do NOT copy the referenced artists or songs in any way, shape, or form. Broadcast Quality is needed.
This company offers an EXCLUSIVE deal, so please be sure the instrumentals you pitch for this opportunity are NOT already signed with any other Companies or Catalogs. Any sync fees will be split 50/50 with the Company. You'll get 100% of the Writer's share, and the Publisher will get 100% of the Publisher's share. You must own or control your Master and Copyright to submit. Please submit as many Instrumentals and/or Cues as you'd like, online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis - No full critiques. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59 PM (PST) on Wednesday, March 13th, 2019. TAXI #Y190313OC

Re: Original Irish Instrumentals +
I think it's really nice Marion!
Need to tighten up on the meter between instruments, i heard the acoustic and fiddle out of sync at times...
Finish as much as you can, if not in time for this, then for the next!
Guitar and Percussion can come up in the mix, fiddle is like banjo, can't bury it enough in the mix sometimes

Re: Original Irish Instrumentals +
Thanks, Cass & DT! I appreciate the input. I'll rerecord both and make sure I get them in sync! <3 I had some good tracks, but when I went to mix it, I'd had the click track so high, I could hear it in the tracks! Had to do the three instruments over, and that may have affected my playing. Maybe I'll record a separate click track so I don't hear the echo from the DAW.

Re: Original Irish Instrumentals--Remix
Here's the remix. I rerecorded & reuploaded to TAXI, but I'm putting the Soundcloud version (320 instead of 190). (I thought I made a new topic for this at 4 AM but it seems to have disappeared, so I'm adding it here.)

Re: Original Irish Instrumentals +
AND, it's a Return. I guess they heard the earlier version, not the remix. Oh, well. Back to the drawing board, so to speak. Also, I'm going to take a bunch of my Irish Fiddle compositions and turn them into a Fiddle Tunebook. Thanks for all the input!
