COMPETITION-Style TENSION INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by a great Non-Exclusive Music Library with tons of placements in Film, TV, and TV Commercials. The library’s owner is a very well-known, well-connected Music Supervisor who’s been working on big TV shows for a long time!

NOTE: We recently ran this request as a TAXI Dispatch Listing (TAXI #D190207CT), but the company didn’t get enough material and asked us to run this request to our full membership list to see if we could find them even more cues. If you submitted to TAXI #D190207CT, please submit different material this time around!

Please listen to the following examples below to get an idea of what could work for this request, and please note the specific sections/timestamps we referenced for you to listen to:

Top Chef: (From 1:15 – 1:49)

The Bachelor (From 1:50 – 2:06)

Submit heart-pounding Instrumentals Cues that will add dramatic anticipation and tension to Reality TV show competitions. Your Cues can include Electronic or Orchestral Instrumentation, or a hybrid of both, as long as they’re tension-inducing! Stick with one melodic idea and mood from beginning to end, and give your piece a developmental arc that builds as it progresses.

TAXI Tip: Imagine the type of music that would be played during big decision-making moments, the kind that end with a contestant getting eliminated and bounced off the show. "Your shrimp scampi didn't have enough garlic, so you're going home!" Heh, heh, heh ;-)

All submissions should be at least two minutes long (or longer.) Non-faded, Buttoned/Stinger endings are highly recommended. Do NOT copy the references in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, tone, texture and overall vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed.

This company offers a NON-EXCLUSIVE, 50/50 deal. This Music Library splits ALL sync fees 50/50 with you. They’ll get 100% of the Publisher’s share, and you’ll get 100% of the Writer’s share. You must own or control your Master and Copyright. Submit as many Instrumental Cues as you’d like, online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis - No full critiques. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59 PM (PST) on Sunday, March 17th, 2019. TAXI #Y190317CT

Hey Ronnie,

Maybe an edit point somewhere sooner IMO.

I do like the way the heartbeat feel rises with the pitch.
