This one had a happy ending: I signed my contract with them today. Thanks to those who told me to be patient, and also to those who told me to be assertive. I did both. I gave them lots of time, but sent a couple polite reminders that we had a deal pending, and eventually they sent the contract.
Also, thanks for all the advice with my music over the years, Taxi forum people!
