2 for 3 - TRADITIONAL-SOUNDING LATIN INSTRUMENTALS
I'm happy to say 2 out of 3 submissions for A RANGE OF TRADITIONAL-SOUNDING LATIN INSTRUMENTALS were forwarded. I wasn't sure how my Cuban latin stuff would go, but now I do. I hope there is more latin stuff on the way.

Go your own way! Out of necessity, drive, gumption, whatever.. don't let anyone tell you you can't!
It's not what goes into your music that's important, it's what comes out the speakers

Here you go.
https://www.taximusic.com/hosting/home. ... id=tresero
The songs were Descarga en La and Mambo 2004
The listing was Y190409LA
A RANGE OF TRADITIONAL-SOUNDING LATIN INSTRUMENTALS is needed by a very successful Music Library that gets tons of placements in TV Shows, Films, and Movie Trailers.
We’re not providing any references for this request, as we felt they could potentially be more misleading or limiting than helpful. They’re open to anything ranging from Salsa, Banda, Cumbia, Bolero, Samba, Tango, Narcocorrido, Ranchera, etc., etc., etc.
Please send in well-crafted, full-length Latin Instrumentals (not cues) that could be used in travel documentaries and food shows to help establish onscreen locations. Your Instrumentation can vary; however, make sure it sounds authentic to the style and sub-genre! Assuming that you’ll be using mostly Virtual Instruments, please make sure they sound convincing. Instruments that sound stiff, obviously quantized, or overtly synth-y will not work for this company.
TAXI Tip: Over-dubbing one or two real instruments over virtual ones can greatly add to the authenticity!
All submissions should be at least 2 minutes in length. Solid edit points and buttoned/stinger endings are encouraged. Please do not copy the referenced music in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, tone, texture and overall vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed.

Wow both are great, Jon! Great horn work in Mambo 2004!
BTW, I liked reading about your musical influences. Because I was influenced by some of those bands too!
Congrats again on the forwards, Jon and many more to come!!
