My 2 cents...I love it. It's not easy discerning that authentic sound. I listened to the samples and the vibe is right on ..IMO..good stuff...I'd leave it and submit...

Andrew. Surfs up bruh. Drop in,cut back, and get pitted.
Itโs got the flavour, vibe and drive. Write another one.
Surfing is the only sport to have its own genre of music.

Re: California Roll Surf Rock
Great track, love the overall composition and performances. Best of luck with this.
Here's a few thoughts:
- Did you check if 1:20 is an OK length for this pitch, or what they were looking for in terms of structure? A typical surf instrumental ran ~2min, with an A, B and some sort of bridge. Not sure if they're looking for a cue or a full on instrumental piece here.
- Would be great to toss in a vibrato-ar,/whammy bar shimmer on a few of the chords and notes
- I didn't think the middle section felt right energy wise, it wasn't a lift or a significant back down from the main theme, and I didn't really here anything to latch onto in the melody there. Maybe a drum breakdown there ala 'wipeout'
Again very cool piece. It's 42degrees outside where I'm at, this helped warm me up inside.

Sounds great. I definitely think this is what they are asking for.
