imo, worrying about jobs shouldn't be a worry. The worry isn't jobs, it's will I eat, have shelter, be educated, have medical care, protection? That's really a government, socio-economic question and or political question. If you have all those things, you really don't need a job and can pursue more leisurely activities, which probably include work, but are choices more than requirements. Freedom.

technology and progress eliminates the necessity of jobs and creates other jobs. Tractors and combines eliminated the need for slavery in the cotton fields, and machines eliminated other manual and dangerous labor.

A proper government system is one where everyone's needs are met and a more egalitarian system, otherwise it makes no sense to have a government. It takes the synergy of everyone's participation.

As far as the music business, technology has only expanded the opportunities for musicians, as far as music making is concerned. As far as how lucrative it is, imo it's more or could be more if the income was more equitably distributed, not only within the business, but in society at-large as well. People need to be able to afford it, and when the income disproportionately goes towards the top, it makes progress less likely.

When you think about it, Artificial intelligence is an oxymoron. I mean, how do you fake intelligence? Maybe they mean artificial creativity?? If there even is such a thing.

artificial-made by human skill; produced by humans (opposed to natural): artificial flowers. artificial intelligence is made by machines that are made by man, as opposed to natural human intelligence. Maybe it's the art in artificial? Even so, how
can they equivocate creativity to intelligence in the machine sense?

Yeah, (and hello btw) it's an interesting question: what is the reference of the intelligence? - who owns the copyrights? What is that 'another intelligence' than intelligence itself even though the machine may say otherwise..

Of course in science fiction - Ai is often referred as something that overcomes it's creator - replaces the host and becomes the overlord. there it fits.

The misconception flooding into real applications is bizzare.
