Hello!
I'm about a month late to write this post but I figured better late than never.
It feels like a never ending journey but trying to put more time into producing music and less into netflix.
I'm realizing how important a balanced lifestyle is when it comes to writing music (eating right, regular exercise, proper sleep, etc.) which is something the pros have always talked about.
I find myself making better music when I'm not over extended, tired or stressed about something else in my life.
Stay hungry. Stay focused!

My year one stats...

Submissions - 67
Forwards - 17
Publishing deals through Taxi (so far) - 1
Publishing deals not through Taxi - 2
Placements - 1 (that I know of)
Instrumental cues produced - 108ish
Instrumental cues signed to libraries - 52

Not too bad for my first year (i think) but still learning everyday.
Very much looking forward to my first time in LA for my first Road Rally this year.
Hoping to meet some familiar faces. Have a great weekend everyone!
52 cues signed your first year, not too shabby Mark!

Thanks for sharing your stats, good productivity and the rewards are following, well done!

Jay :)

P.S. If I stay hungry it makes me cranky and my tracks suffer. So in my case I'll stay sated but keep writing! :D
Thanks Jay! Getting lots of practice so hopefully my quality is going up as well! Also keep some granola bars in the studio just in case ;) haha

Outstanding work and results! Keep tracking your progress, you are definitely doing it right. If the goal is to make money doing this, you are on a great path, this is truly a numbers game and you are doing it right! Looking forward to hearing your next annual report!

Go your own way! Out of necessity, drive, gumption, whatever.. don't let anyone tell you you can't!
It's not what goes into your music that's important, it's what comes out the speakers
