Tension cue

Post by ronnie35 » Sat Jun 08, 2019 1:19 pm

MINIMALISTIC TENSION INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by a NON-Exclusive Music Library for a specific TV show.

Please submit Instrumental Cues in the stylistic ballpark of the references below:

VICE News - HBO (From 1:05–1:47)

“Catfish” (From 1:27-1:56)

Stealth Music - Crime Scene

The Client needs well-composed Instrumental Cues that have an unsettling, tension-inducing tone, while still having enough momentum to move a tense scene forward. Organic instruments, synth pads, and percussion are all elements you can use, as long as they sound contemporary and your arrangement is minimal. Please avoid using dated or cheesy-sounding samples!

TAXI Tip: They’re not looking for busy or bombastic material. Gradually build up the tension as the Cues move forward. Less isdefinitelymore for this request!

All submissions should be about 2 minutes long, give or take. Non-faded endings will work best. Do NOT copy the referenced material in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, texture, tone, and overall vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed.

This company offers a NON-EXCLUSIVE deal. You’ll get 100% of the Master rights and the Library will get 100% of the Publisher’s share for any placements they generate. You must own or control your Master and Copyright to submit for this opportunity. Please submit as many Instrumental Cues as you’d like, online or per CD. All submissions must be received no later than 11:59 PM (PDT) on Thursday, June 13th, 2019. TAXI #D190613TN

Sounds great, Ronnie! I would consider putting in at least one edit point, if even just for a beat, to give some options for editors then maybe add a ticky percussion for interest. Keep it up.
