The Book mentioned by Steve

Post by MBantle » Tue Aug 20, 2019 10:38 am

Dear All,
On last night's episode Steve mentioned a book on orchestration (not the Adler book - the second one). I tried to look it up but could not find it.
Please let me know your thoughts.
Cheers,
Matt

Matt, the book is called The Technique of Orchestration by Kent Kennan. I see it on Amazon:

4th Edition: (the version I own)

https://www.amazon.com/Technique-Orches ... oks&sr=1-9

6th Edition (2002):

https://www.amazon.com/Technique-Orches ... oks&sr=1-3

Hi Steve!
Many thanks for this! I had tried different spellings but could not find it :) Many thanks also for sharing your knowledge on Taxi TV. It is always a highlight to see you on the show.
All the best and kind regards
