Broadway Gig

Post by wendylanders » Sun Oct 20, 2019 9:04 pm

I just got the virtual instrument Broadway Gig and I love it!

It's just four instruments--but one of them was sax and I really needed a saxophone sample. There's a lot of detail in the sample pack, so you can use them for a solo line.

It took a long time to download though, especially out where I live.

Best!

Here it is!

A sax solo version of It Came upon a Midnight Clear. Enjoy! :)

Hi!

It goes from my midi keyboard through the computer where Broadway Gig assigns it tones, then out through the computer interface to my amp. At my amp I have a couple of mics recording it to a couple of tube preamps, then back to the computer interface, then back into the computer where it's recorded into the DAW. It's similar to overdubbing (as I understand overdubbing anyway).

Even when you use Broadway Gig to play live, you have to have some kind of computer setup to go with it, since it's activated in the software.

I hope that helps! :)

Best,
