Hey Len--

Thanks for this. The company named Digital Tigers that I linked to in the OP has that software too. I've never used it personally, but I was thinking about it here.

Cheers!

It's really such a personal thing. The way that I work, I just can't seem to get behind a multiple monitor system. It just feels disjointed or disconnected and I can't focus as well for whatever reason. I have a good friend that is the opposite and would probably have 4 monitors if he could while I prefer a single, larger display.

IMHO, there is no best way, only your personal preference.

I am close to finishing my newest studio and I am using 2x 32 inch monitors. One will be dub for video as well as a second in Logic. I have a second Mac doing vid duties and I can switch back and forth.
I thought it would be overkill but having the option really is a great plus. IMO

Single screen, since forever, because I've worked in Tracktion's single-window interface for over a decade and my room is rather shallow, and no other position allows symmetrical audio monitor spacing, meaning small side-to-side motions of my head make a large difference at my ears.
