Hey Bryan,
I'm using Reaper. I pay for the license whenever they exceed the projected Updates. I think it's 6.03 now and I'm good to 7.0 it works out to about $60 a year. I've always used Reaper so I'm comfortable with it and I like it. Never heard anybody say "you know that doesn't sound like Pro Tools" lol
Logic Pro looks like a bad ass program, it comes with a lot of usable sounds. And reasonably priced.

I use a Fender Blues Deluxe that's been hot rodded a bit. I built an iso room under my stairwell and installed wall plates to run speaker cable in and mic cables back to my interface, PreSonus 1810C. Miked with a Sure 57. Toon Track Drums and keys. Alesis 42 midi controller. Ibanez TMB100 bass. 18 guitars, Teles, Strats, Les Paul, Washburn, Takamine, National Resonator, and a Banjo.
I play harmonica also and a little mandolin. An assortment of mics but I really like my new addition the Gauge ECM 87. My 10 year old computer is due to be replaced but Hey, it still works :D
I have a dedicated room downstairs with it's own full bath lol. Maybe TMI lol

I would agree now that you mention it, "No Way Out" is more of a cue than Tension. I was thinking that it had an investigative feel so that's where that label came from. I'm not really very versed in the Tension realm and over this last few months I have realized it ain't bag right now. So I am interested in what kind of spin you would add to it. Would you want me to send you tracks in Drop Box or some thing? If I sent the midi files would you want to clean up the keyboard articulation? I have a collaborators agreement if you would want to look that over, 50/50 would be the splits. Bm G7 is correct, with the F# single notes going into G. It could have a B section that would stab B - A (3 4) F#G F#G if that makes sense. But I'm really open to other ideas

Yes the flu and cold has been going around, I had a bout with the flu 2 weeks ago, I thought I was gonna die.
It sounds like you are fortunate enough to do music full time?
Unless things change I'm still doing the day job for 2 or 3 more years. I'm a Kronos IT slash Payroll Manager at Geiger Ready Mix. They gave me a new title "Human Resources System Information Specialist" That's code for the guy who does the shit nobody else wants to do

I hope you feel better and we'll talk soon

Hello Jason! Thanks for checking in! I guess my thinking when I initially posted didn’t necessarily go beyond just seeing if there were other Taxi members in the KC area. That and maybe getting folks together at some point. Sometimes it’s just good to have someone to talk to that’s working through similar things.

Hey Dave! Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. Got to feeling better and just got busy. Working on music.

Say, I think we have a friend in common. I was talking to a friend in Tasmania named Lester McLeod and he mentioned doing some mixing for you. Small world. Seems like we are all on similar musical wavelengths too. Wish Lester was close enough to pop in for a beer. Maybe we can take him for a pint via Skype. 😉

Hey Brian,
Glad to hear you're feeling better :D

I've been pretty busy myself, seems I get back to the forums later than I had planned

Yeah Les is cool, I like his work. I wanted to do royalty splits with him but he absolutely refuses. He just wanted the experience and I can understand, once your a share holder you have to dedicate to that

I haven't advanced to the Skype thing but I get there.....eventually lol
