A RANGE of QUIRKY and UNIQUE SONGS FOR TV COMMERCIALS with Male or Female Vocals are needed by a successful Music Licensing Company for a bunch of TV Commercial pitches!
They’re on the hunt for Songs in All Tempos that fall within the general range of (but not limited to) the following references they gave to us:
“New Soul" by Yael Naim (for Apple)
"We Are Young" by Fun (for Chevy/Sonic)
"I Want It " by 3 One Oh (for Google Pixel)
"1234" by Feist (for Ipad Nano)
NOTE: The client is open to material in all commercially viable styles and genres, as long as the Songs are unique, memorable, and playful enough to cover a variety of advertisement scenarios!
Please submit innovative, well-crafted Songs that have an "advertising-friendly” sound and vibe. Your Songs can range anywhere from stripped-down versions to fuller productions with more instrumentation. Whichever genre or sub-genre you’re pitching, the music should sound have genre-appropriate sounding instrumentation and productions. Your submissions can also have a bit of a quirky quality to them, but don’t get carried away!
Hi John- These are great! So well produced and recorded... I'd love to know how you process your vocals. Anyway fingers crossed! Susan

Thanks Susan!
yep, fingers crossed as usual.
Honestly the vocalist is so good! And she tunes and Vocaligns her tracks so they come in sounding wonderful. I do have my vocal songs mixed/mastered so that is where the extra processing comes in. I wish I could tell you what he does but I don't know! Best of luck, John

Hi John - congratulations on the forwards. My personal favorite is i gotta have it, the voice is great, the instruments really pop and the variations are clever way to hammer home the title line. Nice.

Wow!!! First of all Congratulations John.
These tracks are amazing. The vocalist is great! and very well produced.
Loved all of them! (except the 3rd, which seemed to have a broken link)
Keep making more!

Thanks Tony!” I Gotta Have It”was a really fun one to produce and now it’s been signed to 3 nonexclusives!! Btw I usually don’t sign a song to more than one non-excl unless they’re working different parts of the industry (ad, tv film, in store music).
Thanks again! Best, John

Thank you Subin! Yeah since I originally posted this I did a remix on one of the songs hence the non-working link. Thanks for the kind words! Best, John
