Instrumentals vs. Cues

Some listings are asking for instrumentals OR cues. How does the screener know which one you are submitting? I recently submitted to one of these listings and my piece was about 1:47, so I thought that was close enough for the 90 second - 2 minute CUE. When the return came back, the screener said that I should be closer to the 2-4 minutes that the listing specified. In the future, how do I specify that I am submitting a CUE as opposed to an instrumental?

Here is a quote from one of the listings that I am referring to:

“All submissions should be about 2 to 4 minutes long for Instrumentals and roughly 90 seconds to 2 minutes for Cues, give or take.“
