Re: RELAXING MEDITATION INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC
The initial sound is much too piercing to be relaxing - I would try swapping it for something more gentle

its pretty good Tom and my only suggestion is consider trying to slow it down a bit more so you have more of those long drawn out pad chords and maybe even try swapping the plucking sound with a long sustain bell or tingle or xylophone type sound

Re: RELAXING MEDITATION INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC
My ears tell me that there are too many overtones stacking up in the midrange...
Kinda peirced 'em...
I would either use a comb filter or EQ cuts on some of the tracks to define the chords a little tighter.
Caveat = I have been mixing hard for a week and this is from my morning ears...

Still a pretty piercing sound to me , sets my teeth on edge
It's either the wrong sound or in the wrong register..change the sound ,...not the EQ

Yes quite a bit better
Your piano is also quite piercing , sounds like it's being played on a high velocity

Re: RELAXING MEDITATION INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC
What's happening is this:
Your main pad sounds to me to be near max volume for the track
It is filling the full EQ spectrum
As soon as the piano hits, whatever note it is, it becomes doubled by the note in the pad
Making each piano note too loud/piercing in it's EQ range
Either use automated EQ cuts to the pad or, better yet, sidechain/duck it to the piano notes

Re: RELAXING MEDITATION INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC
I think the piano is too loud and a bit harsh, and the percussion sound is too dry. The pad and chords are quite nice but the piano and percussion seem to distract you so that you can’t just wallow in the the pad and drift off into meditation. I would get out the super massive reverb and probably reverse the piano part (ie play it backwards) with the reverb in a few places.
