Feedback on Seductive Hip-Hop for a Strip Club Scene

Sorry but I still think the lead sound is letting the side down. It reminds me of something from a C64 chip tune now.

I reckon something like a moden pluck sound might be better.

Thanks Mark, you're right, those weren't the best sounds either.

From the start I've been purposely choosing slightly irritating lead sounds to underline the "strip club" vibe of the track and to match the vibe of the references. I did try plucks but they didn't work because I lost all those pitch band effects which to my ears are one of the main sex-appeal drivers in the track. So, in this last version I ended up using some more common saw lead sounds. I like these the most so far.

They're too dry if you compare them to the references, I would be throwing a plugin or two them to spice them up - OTT or Raum spring to mind for two freebies
