Looking for feedback on Modern Meditation Instrumental...

Hello friends-the track is still a work in progress for Taxi listing below--hoping to get an opinion on instrumentation, mix or other thoughts.

Hi Colleen, the link did not work. I don't know why but try again, also it's always good to include the entire brief on the listing so we know what they're looking for and can listen with that in mind.

Hi Colleen, thanks for sharing your work! I like the elements you've used, there's a couple things that I noticed:

1. there's about a minute of room tone after the piece ends, you'll definitely want to clean that up!
2. if it were mine, I'd put some filtering/ambience/echo on the recorder. Right now it sticks out as the only 'live' instrument in the mix. Make it gel with the ensemble. JM2C
3. I'm not a screener, but I'd be sensitive to sounds that come in abruptly or loudly when the listing is looking for "meditation" music. This is simply a mix balance issue.

I like it, but the last quiet section seems like there should either be more going on or cut it. I have heard quite a bit of this type of music through yoga and massage, and I think it is good other than the last part. That being said, the other feedback is valid and something to consider.

Thanks so much for your feedback--the last minute of silence was inexplicably tagged on by soundcloud. I re-uploaded it with the same result and so, as this glitch doesn't happen when I bounce it out of Logic, I just left it, as it's a rough version for your ears only.

The old-fashioned way: copy and paste out of the listing itself. It's extra-special to take the time to create clickable links to the refs too, although not everybody does that.
