That's excellent! 40 forwards is great, how many submissions have you done? You are certainly on the right track!
I've submitted about 180 tracks across 10-15 genres since I first signed up. Now that I have a healthy amount of feedback from all the returns, I'm narrowing my focus to help improve the submission-to-forward ratio. :geek: :ugeek:

Sounds quite a lot like my start at Taxi... I submitted quite a bit to many different genre listings. Only after I started achieving success did I realize the right path forward. My own advice to new Taxi members is to try not to write in a ton of styles and try not to submit to everything that you think you can write accurately to. Figure out your strengths, your strongest genre, and build up a catalog of that. Just because one can write in many genres does not mean that one should submit to those listings.

Keep up the good work though, you are doing the right things!

My stringest genres are jazz fusion and world fusion. Where should I dig my grave?

Here's my portalble studio, I have a much smaller keyboard... works great on flights and other small spaces. :) In fact, 10 of the 12 tracks on an 80s analog synth album I did for a library last year were written while i was flying using the setup shown here: Mid-2013 Macbook Air and a Korg Nano2 Keyboard, with ten year old Bose QuietComfort noise cancelling headphones (strongly recommended for air travel).
