What is the “Home studio” sound?

I'm just a newbie myself but, I've been learning about being "depth" into my mixes.

I invested in the Valhalla suit and use the Room modelled vst in almost every mix.- without reverb on each channel.

Normally, I use it as an Effect track, then send each channel to it as well as the output.
If you've got it right, suddenly, it sounds like everyone is playing in a "real" room - together - at the same time.

As I said, I'm still learning this technique but, the difference it can make is awesome.

Mind you, it won't rescue a bad or "muddy" mix

Complicated business this :D .
