I still feel that the normal bass frequencies, aside from the sub-bass booms, could be a little lacking. It seemed somewhat empty in that range when I couldn't hear the sub-bass
With the sub bass reduced it'll need a compensatory boost higher up ...sounds more like the 300hz area needs adjusting to me, a gentle boost with a wide Q...low mids / warmth / fullness more than out and out bass
Big thanks for all the mix advice. It gets hard to hear after hours of writing!

" non-faded, buttoned/stinger endings are required. "

Does your track fulfill that requirement?
From what I've been able to gather, even a fairly drawn out held note or chord can qualify as a stinger ending. What you don't want is a phrase repeating over and over again and fading as it repeats. I'm not positive on this, though.

I've had a few trailer style tracks forwarded and I listen to a ton of tracks every day for reference and having a few notes at the end seems to be passable.

A coupe of months back I did one for a Library album and they asked for a " title card " at the end which is kinda the bit after the main trailer is done when some text comes on like " In Theatres Summer 2021 "...I think I just used the solo trailer piano off the intro playing a single note and a pad.

But it was a new one on me , I don't major in trailer music.
