Hello, I'm looking for a topline

Post by acookemusic » Mon Oct 04, 2021 4:16 am

Hey, I've got a track that needs a topline on it. If you would like to give it a shot please do. At the moment a recording on your phone just over the top of it will be enough. If I like it we can split everything equally.

Email toplines here: andy@acookemusic.com

Thanks for your time!

Hi Andy.
While I've been inspired by (and even invited to topline to) another's composition - the structure for a proper song already existed in their track, with little or no needs for edits.
IMHO - your track already has the elements usually sought after: i.e. singular motif, developmental arc, and dynamics - that work well for an Instrumental Cue.
TBH - personally - I don't 'hear' a song in there that would have Verse/Chorus/Bridge parts, that a good song might want and need.

If you're gonna pursue making this piece into a song, it might be helpful in your search for a topliner/collaborator to identify what style/genre/listener-target you are after.

It's a good-sounding track. Good luck on your search.
Hope that helps; cheers.

Well... that's really all it takes, and is a great place to begin when that happens; seriously.
Go for it!
