I dunno.

Something tells me "The Joe Rogan Lift" is about to become a viral catchphrase on this forum.

Taxi Musician: "Man! They stole my song!"

Other Taxi Musician: "I agree! They obviously pulled a Rogan on you!"

Ever since McCartney heard me singing "Scrambled Eggs" and he turned the tune into "Yesterday", my career has been downhill. Oh well... At least he didn't say I was just a blues cover band.

Time to let Joe Rogan go. The podcast for the "people of walmart".

That he copped a cue in violation of copyright would not surprise me, he has questionable morals therefore his production team likely has questionable morals.

So does mean that you think it is actually possible that a Rogan show music editor somehow heard a Taxi submission (not even a forward) and then rewrote/produced a new version to use on the show? This is what the OP asserts.

the premise I believe was that there was a listing where the joe rogan production team member was a screener and thus heard the submission, whether or not it was a forward does not matter.

and YES it is possible just like joe rogan propagating a dangerous conspiracy theory 'for the clickbait-likes' on his show is possible on any given day, "it would not surprise me, he has questionable morals" is what I wrote.

The original story was the dude submitted to a taxi brief and got rejected, then "they" stole and redid the idea and it got used on Rogan. It's an absurd claim as is. But then you changed the "they" to "Rogan's production team member" and say yes it is possible because Rogan (the most popular Podcaster on the planet) has questionable morals.

Your reasoning sounds an awful lot like the same way "Rogan takes Nobel prize-winning anti-parasitic drug prescribed by his doctor" became "Rogan takes horse dewormer". Maybe you should look into applying to CNN's audio production team, sounds like you may have the right credentials for the job.
