Post by funsongs » Wed Jan 05, 2022 7:00 pm

Stoked to get to post this one: Robert Else graciously accepted my offer to write lyrics to his piano composition/Instrumental Cue "Regret"... and have just done a final mix of
Then Came The Rain

Cheers, ears. :? :P

Wow!! That is f:+::+ing amazing, one of the best pieces I have heard on this forum. Of course you know what I am saying while listening to this "I wish I was playing on this" when I love a track this good.

This is really great, my hats off to all of you. Beautiful piano sound as expected from Robert, beautiful voice as sung by(sorry no mention of the singer) and you.

Thanks, Andre - the 'ensemble' credits are listed on the Soundcloud page for this song. :? :P Don't we like to keep'm guessing...? :D

Congratulations to Robert and you, Peter. What a remarkable song. You may have to start another forum account under the guise of deepsongs. Stellar work, my friend!

Deepsongs, eh? I like that.
I was just about to start work on Kidzsongs. No explanation needed, right?

Thanks for all the compliments to both of us, but really: Hats off, many thanks, and much gratitude to Peter Rahill, who did the lion's share by far on this collaboration... finding and hiring the singer and other musicians, coordinating all the recording sessions and post-production work, and of course envisioning the whole thing in the first place.

Here is the original piano track, "Regret", that I wrote for a TAXI listing back in early 2020. I was fortunate to have it forwarded and eventually picked up by a non-exclusive library. Still waiting for a placement, but this collaboration is a more immediate gift. Thanks Peter!
