Plug in for Cymbal Swells / Rolls

Post by DouglasKnight » Wed Jan 26, 2022 6:46 pm

Hey guys --

I'm looking for a good plug in for Cymbal Swells and Rolls -- any suggestions?

So far I've come across this one by VST Buzz: https://vstbuzz.com/the-vault/cymbal-r ... view_video Has anyone tried it?

Thanks!
Doug

HA... when I read the Subject line, I didn't think about plugins.
When I needed some - a variety - I created my own.
I happen to own a pretty complete set of well-cared-for PAISTE 2002 Red Label reissue John Bonham cymbals:
including 20"/18"/16" crash cymbals. I recorded several passes/lengths with each; so now I can just grab one that works...
and 'plug it in' to my mix.
I'm happy to send you those (free) in an mp3 or WAV file, if you'll PM an email address.
Cheers.
Not a lot of them - just some swells, mostly for Intro/Outro/filler.

Sounds like a deal, Peter, thanks for the offer!

Graham (UK). Still composing a little faster than decomposing, and 100% HI.

It's great for finding perc parts , Loopcloud is even better as it has tools for chopping up the audio which is great if you've found something you want to turn into a groove and it also metatags your own samples an integrates them
