Haha! So lately I've been noticing a lot of people sitting in their cars.. ya think they're all composers
Good to know I'm not the only one who goes out to my car, sits in it for about 5 mins, then goes back inside (with the possibility of repeating this whole process about 15 mins later) I wonder if our neighbors see us!
Sorry didn't mean to hijack the comments with my stupid jokes.. but you absolutely have to check in multiple speaker settings, I sometimes even use the TV (more so for the trailers) but really all of it will (hopefully) be using this platform, so why not?

I also was taught long ago to listen in my car... and everywhere else I can before calling a mix finished.

Good track. Let us know what you hear from the screeners.

Thanks glogleemusic!

Here's the feedback - no boxes checked, first time for me, though it might be about this request or the genre or my not meeting the technical requirement:

---
What I like most about this song:
I like the structure and the use of the tonality on this instrumental.

I think you could improve this song by:
This gets closer to the character style of arrangement/sound, although, the overall level of the master is low. Since this is a direct to streaming request from a label (if accepted, that's where it's going), It's best to have your master at

-14 LUFS
-1 db True peak

to have a competitive track. Utilizing a loudness meter will help.

I returned or forwarded this song because:
The track has a nice ambient flow, yet, it could benefit from a revision i the mastering to meet the listing's request.

What you should ideally aim for is the right setup so you don't need to go and listen to it in your car which will save you a ton of time over the longer term.

A switchbox wired to an old boombox or computer speakers plus a decent quality mono reference speaker like an Avantone Mixcube will tell you all you need to know whilst working. If it sounds good on all of those it will sound good everywhere.

Just make sure you A/B reference your track against the example tracks with something like Magic A/B then you'll be able to tell immediately if your track is loud enough and of a similar quality.
