Salutary lesson !!

Post by paulkearnsmusic » Mon Feb 28, 2022 1:52 am

In a hurry, I accidentally uploaded the wrong version of a composition and put it forward  .

The review came back as the melody and composition being spot on, but the mix was the problem - not being of broadcast quality.

It was only when I listened back that I realised my mistake.
I've uploaded the correct version (difference is "chalk & cheese") but I doubt there's a way to ask them to review the right version - is there?

Only got myself to blame - that'll teach me to be in a hurry 😱.

Cheers
Paul.

Probably not now. You'll have to use it again when a similar listing comes around

Nope. Nothing you can do now. It happens. I once accidentally uploaded a version with vocals instead of the instrumental mix for an instrumental listing. Duh! The screener said they would have forwarded it if it didn't have vocals. Once the listing is closed and reviewed, nothing can be done. It just reminds us to be more careful.

:) Casey
