Hi folks,
Any thoughts on the piano instrumental cues for listing S220310PN?
Quoting the Library: "We need pieces in a range of moods from sad, humorous, tongue-in-cheek, and fun, as well as drama for driving moments. The pieces could also be jazz-adjacent. We really want to try and keep the whole show feeling like it’s scored."
However, the audio examples are not reflective of some of these moods (humorous, tongue-in-cheek). Sad... yes, drama... maybe.
What do you think? Stick to the audio examples (Einaudi and Tiersen) or branch out and go fun, quirky, humorous?
Thanks!
Alan

While it's always a leg up to go by reference tracks, if you are better at other piano based styles, given the quick turn around, I suggest go that way. Not much time and if jazz, comedy, whatever is more your forte, might be better to stay there for this one. However, if it's all the same for you and you can crank out one like the reference tracks as easily as something else, I'd go that way.
Does that help?
