Sharing music with libraries.

Post by gitanosoy » Tue Mar 29, 2022 4:20 pm

Hi all,

I have free Soundcloud and a lot of old crap and some okay ones on there, some feature don't work or limited unless you pay so I will keep my free account for personal non sync music compositions.

I want to dedicate a more professional music platform just for sync music to share my tracks upon library request. So please if you could please share some favorites free or pay.

I would like to know which ones most of you prefer.

Thank you.

DISCO
https://disco.ac/
+1
though I do not have need of it, and don't have it: it's the go-to choice used at the TAXI Road Rally...
so that oughta give you a good idea of its usefulness.

Reelcrafter (and not just because I basically was the main betatester of the newly launched v2 :P ), I really love that I am able to see all the activities being performed on the music I share with people, particularly those in the industry

Yeah I would continue but in order to change a track and replace it with a better mix/master you don't have that option unless you pay so either I have to delete the tracks that are crap from a long time ago or keep them on there, I know libraries checkout your tracks sometimes and I don't want them to hear the crap stuff.

Don't know, maybe I am overthinking too much...

I think to find the right service, you'll have to pay something. I think DISCO is $10/month. The nice part is what you put on there is not publicly searchable, there is no piracy, etc. Right now it's widely used by music sups. Disco supports metadata, lyrics, playlists, etc. I'm still on SC out of habit but I'm really sick of the spam and pirating.

Yes I checked it out, pretty nice and free trial.

Same here with Soundcloud and even if you check "No Download" it is not true, people( Computer whiz kids) can still download your track.
