CLASSICAL PIANO INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by an International Music Library with a great track record of placements that needs lots of new music!

They’re looking for Instrumentals in All Tempos in the general stylistic range of the following references:

Chopin: Waltz No. 6 in D-Flat Major, Op. 64, No. 1 "Minute" by Alice Sara Ott

Chopin: Nocturne in E-flat major, Op. 9, No. 2 by Vadim Chaimovich

Haydn Sonata No. 49 in C Sharp Minor Hob. XVI:36 by Jenö Jandó

Please submit well-composed, ORIGINAL Classical Instrumental Cues that were recorded live on an actual piano, and are well-performed from start to finish. Your submissions should have engaging motifs, impeccable musicianship, and great articulation and tonality. Craft your cues around a central motif and mood so that your submissions remain cohesive. Please make sure your piano is recorded live – no virtual sounds or samples will work for this request! Your production should be polished, as well.

Your submissions should be about 90 seconds long, give or take. Non-faded endings will work best. Do NOT copy the referenced material in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, texture, tone, and overall vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed.

I dunno... Sounds risky. You'd want to be very sure of your mixing and production chops, doing a lot of a/b testing to the references specifically for the overall "sound."

I would agree with the other comments. Although it is right up my alley and I already have compositions that I could submit I already know that my Logic stock piano which is pretty descent and I have learned to tweak it to get a realistic sound(watching tutorial youtube videos) it would not be a contender to the real acoustic piano or a high quality piano vst. I have signed music using Logic piano in other genres but not classical compositions.

This is just me, maybe others have used Logic piano or free vst and got their tracks forwarded and signed.

I have to strongly disagree with cosmicdolphin. Composing is never a waste of time. Not composing is a waste of time.
