Sorry but I'm not hearing either Hip Hop or Morricone in this one.

I'm getting more of a 90s smooth jazz/r&b feeling, not hip hop at all. The bass used is not really in the genre to me, the YouTube reference you provided has a much different sound and feel. Some of the synth patches also sound dated, and the horns that come in at 0:58 are not very good. There's a lot of reverb on the various synth patches and pads. Overall the mix could use some work, each phrase should have a main instrument focus point, drawing the listener to focus on one element at a time. The keyboards one time, the synth another time, etc.

The main thing I see missing is a music cue form. I don't hear a singular theme, it seems more like just a relaxing 90s jam track with different things going on.

As far as hitting the mark for the genre request, I don't hear or feel anything resembling spaghetti. Here's a great collection of Morricone to browse, lots of musical options to choose from: whistles, string pads and leads, various vocal styles, timpani, bass drums, snare drums, trumpets, guitars, recorder, etc. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q7tIqEgRwJY

Thanks Paulie, will keep for a smooth jazz r&b listing ;-)
I guess I have problem identifying the genre...
