From Country Hip Hop to Spag.Western...

Post by convalian » Sat Apr 30, 2022 7:50 pm

So...this track started as a Country hip Hop track that I posted up here a few days ago.....

After all the feedback (and finding the listing for a Spaghetti Western Hip Hop Track) I Jumped ship on the country idea and asked myself, What would Clint Eastwood do?

Here's the new track and listing....

SPAGHETTI WESTERN HIP-HOP INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by an established and well-known Independent Production Music Library that pays Upfront Fees to Composers!

This Library is on a serious search for Mid-to-Up-Tempo Instrumental Cues that could fit on a playlist with the following references:

WARNING: The following references may have graphic and explicit lyrics. Listener discretion is advised.

"Flashflood" by Aesop Rock

"We B Workn'" by Bone Thugs n Harmony

"Rushing Elephants" by Wu-Tang Clan

Although the references have vocals, please submit Instrumental Cues only for this request.

Please submit top-notch Instrumental Cues that blend authentic-sounding Spaghetti Western and Hip-Hop elements to create an effortlessly cool vibe and sound. Your submissions should have intriguing motifs, slick beats, and solid arrangements. Craft your Cues around a singular motif, and create a sense forward momentum and dynamics by layering instrumentation in and out as they progress. Instrumentation in the general style of the references will suit your submissions best – think Ennio Morricone-styled motifs paired with Hip-Hop beats. And keep it hip – nothing "cheesy" will work here, folks! Please be sure that your production is polished and any virtual sounds or samples you use are high-quality and fresh.

Fun track, I'm dying to know what show plans on using this genre. :)

I didn't get any "spaghetti" out of this track until 1:20 when you add the whistle and guitar. The first half sounds more like "hick hop" to me. Also, that open hi-hat hurts... I'd drop it down a few dB.
