UPLIFTING ACOUSTIC GUITAR INSTRUMENTALS and/or INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by an International Music Library with lots of great placements in Film and TV.

This Library is searching for Mid-Tempo Instrumentals (or Cues) that could be found on a playlist with the following references:

"Fly Away" by Ron Alan Cohen https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R6-5aujnl5M

"Trailways" by Woven Hearts https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f5eTI30hev8

"Black Kite" by Dust Follows https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zkt58QOb0ug

Please submit well-produced Instrumentals (or Cues) with an overall uplifting, heartwarming, and introspective vibe that feature acoustic guitar as a focal element. Your submissions should have memorable motifs, excellent arrangements, and solid performances. We recommend crafting your pieces around a central motif, and creating a sense of forward dynamics and movement by layering instrumentation in and out as they progress. Instrumentation in the general style of the references will suit your submissions best – think acoustic guitars, keys, strings, light drums, electric guitars, etc. Please be sure your production and any virtual sounds or samples you use are high-quality and not dated.

Your submissions should be roughly 90 Seconds long for Cues, and about 2 to 4 minutes long for Instrumentals, give or take. Non-faded, buttoned/stinger endings will work best. Do NOT copy the referenced music in any way, shape, or form. Use it only as a general guide for tempo, texture, tone, and overall vibe. Do not submit any material with unauthorized samples of other artists’ Songs, sounds, or any other form of media. Broadcast Quality is needed.

Hi Douglas,

Apologies for the post deadline reply!

I think this is well pitched.
The only thing I am missing is a little bit of continuous low end. Maybe some light stringed bass or synth to serve as a bed frequency wise, otherwise it sounds great!

Best of luck.
Owen

Hey Owen -- thanks for the feedback! There is a bass track that starts at around :30, but it may be too low in the mix? Anyway, I appreciate your input-- thanks for listening!

All the best,
Doug

Hi Douglas,

You are welcome:)

The bass track can be heard clearly in headphones (and it is well crafted as well I might add) but gets a little less present when listening on my speakers especially when compared to the first reference track ( Fly Away). In my original remark I thought that if you added a stringed bass instrument underneath it can help with sustaining the low end and that might work, however upon further listening I am realizing that when compared to "Fly Away", the whole mix has less bottom end overall, so I guess more bottom end (or less brightness, or both) on the whole mix was what I was missing especially since I heard it exactly after that reference.

Having said that, I think it is not that big of a deal as the track is beautifully written and well performed / produced anyways.
Once again best of luck and fingers crossed for a forward:)

Best Regards,
Owen
