Finally a forward!

Post by Dandillinger » Fri Jun 03, 2022 7:40 am

After two years and dozens of rejections, I got a forward for "Winter" to a sad piano request. This is a bucket list item for me. Nearing seventy and having my music partners both pass away, I worried that I might never measure up. So excited and looking forward to the next submission. Thanks to Taxi for all those constructive rejections.

Congratulations, Daniel.
Listening to your track now - right out of the gate, I'm 'feeling the mood' - which apparently is paramount in reaching 'the goal' of a forward.
Well done. Never too late to rejoice in a bit of success & achievement.
Cheers - from an old guy in The Peanut Gallery. :? :P

Congrats Daniel, well done! Good theme and mood. IMO the strings could sound a bit more realistic with more motion (velocity, vibrato…). Maybe a better strings library? Good luck though!!!

Agree about the strings but it's probably a perfectly good library , just need to get to work with those expression controllers.

Congrats on the Forward to Daniel
