Christmas!! (feedback request)

Post by JonathanE » Thu Jun 16, 2022 8:30 am

Hello everyone! So I'm assuming christmas listing requests are going to be coming in soon?

I recorded this with my sister last Christmas, and could really use some constructive criticism on it, everything from the music to the singing, and overall arrangement.

Do you think it's syncable? Usable?

Thanks for any thoughts!!

Hey Jonathan, very nice work here - it sounds great and could work well if the right listing comes along. My only suggestion would be to not pan the scat part at :43 hard right. I would either pan it center or record a second take and pan it hard left to balance the other. Otherwise, I really liked it, and best of luck!

Hey, thanks for listening again, Douglas, I appreciate it! What would you think of panning right or left, but not as hard right, maybe in between center and right? Or you're saying the best thing is to keep that section balanced?

You bet! I'd probably mix it at center, that's just my preference.
