Re: Stinger Ending?
I haven't encountered many Ohio people in my sync licensing journey, so far, so good to "meet" another!

Re: Stinger Ending?
As many of you know, the purpose of a stinger is to coincide with the end of a scene, wrapping that up and helping transition to the next scene. Here is an example of a placement I had where they took the end of the track's stinger ending and used it just like that:

Re: Stinger Ending?
Very cool, Casey.
Thanks for sharing.
After our conversation, I sat down to continue reading Hey! That's My Song, a book written by a couple of Taxi members about sync licensing, and coincidentally, I read the portion of the book dealing with stinger endings. The authors say to attempt to hold the last note for two or three seconds, which seems to concur with your example and thinking, Casey.
So maybe that was my sin, not holding out the last note.
Thanks for sharing.

Re: Stinger Ending?
Good tip, and perhaps one the screener should've given you instead of saying it doesn't have a stinger ending which is clearly debatable.regardner wrote: ↑Sat Jul 09, 2022 3:45 pmVery cool, Casey.
