Been away too long!

Post by LamarPecorino » Sat Aug 13, 2022 11:06 pm

Hey Taxi family,

I've been absent from the Forums due to some personal and family health issues. Things are a bit better now. During my absence, we created a new track for our "Bodies In Motion" project. This time it is a Tropical House song entitled "Don't Let This Song End". Let me know your thoughts. As always, I appreciate your taking the time to listen and write.

Well, it certainly sounds like something that would be playing in a party club...
or the Outro of the last bit of the TAXI Road Rally... :? :P

Thanks, Peter. Won't be able to attend Road Rally 2022. Maybe someday.

I have some high-end hearing loss from playing drums for 30+ years and IMHO, the opening vocal needs some de-essing. The alliteration in the lyrics is great but there are several harsh "s" sounds in the first line. Also the "t" in "felt". Once you get to "want more" it's fine, but then the second part of the 1st verse is right on the edge of too much "s". Listen through the track and decide which "s" and "t" blend best and make the others match.

hope this helps.

Michael
