Hello! I am very excited to attend my first Road Rally!
What is the One-to-One mentor sessions, and Driver's Ed classes?
I can't find anything on the site about how these work, or how to sign up, etc.
Thanks!

1-on-1 sessions are very popular, they are a 10-15 minute sit down with a supervisor or successful composer, engineer, etc. where you play them a track of yours and they give you immediate feedback. Many Taxi members get in the registration line hours early because they want to get a slot with a specific music sup or writer.

Thanks so much! Sound very cool and exciting!
Is CD the format of choice here too? Or is plugging headphones into my iPhone acceptable?

iPhone is fine for playing songs for your mentor. Don't forget to bring a lightning to headphone adapter if you phone doesn't have an audio jack as most don't anymore. I would still bring some CDs because in some of the Drivers Ed classes, the teacher will play songs on CDs from the class.moodofdirk wrote: ↑Fri Oct 14, 2022 2:44 pmThanks so much! Also... If you are attending the Eat and Greet Mentor lunch, you may want to have 6 CDs put aside just for that as mentors may collect CDs from the members at tables.
Feel free to PM if you have more questions about the rally.
Best,
Casey
