Rules about forwards...

Hello TAXI Members!

I am a new member and have a quick question. If you get a forward, is it OK to pitch to other listings or is it best practices to wait and see if an offer comes through first?

I'd keep pitching until signed, in general. I've had same tracks forwarded multiple times and still waiting for a call. Also, keep pitching your non-forwards when appropriate, as someone else might be able to use them.

Its always good to ask questions, but its also a good thing to at least have a little look for an answer first. If you can imagine your question might have been asked before, then it probably has. A very similar question was asked just a few days ago (and many times before that), and I suspect the answer is all you need...

Basically, until you've signed an agreement on a track its yours to do with as you please. Bear in mind that its not at all unusual to never hear anything back after a forward (for many reasons), so if you wait for that you could miss out on something else in the meantime. Take your chances while you can.
