Forward > DARK, PULSING TENSION INSTRUMENTAL

Post by steveprobst » Fri Nov 11, 2022 7:16 pm

I wrote 2 tracks for this Dispatch listing and.....
a track I wrote in 2020 is the one that actually got forwarded.

A Bunch of DARK, PULSING TENSION INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by a Music Supervisor-owned Music Library that’s beefing up their catalog for future Film/TV placements.

This Library is searching for a range of Mid-to-Up Tempo Instrumental Cues in the general wheelhouse of the following references (but not limited to):

"Technically, Missing" by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross

"404.2 IRC Fantasy" by Mac Quayle

"Leave It or Take It" by Bleeding Fingers

"Race to the Finish" by Kenneth E. Belcher

"Flinch Mob" by Bleeding Fingers

Please submit top-notch Tension Instrumental Cues oozing with dark, moody, pulsing energy that could enhance, complement, and create an overall uneasy tone and mood. Intriguing motifs, solid arrangements, throbbing rhythms, and tons of suspenseful energy are all needed for this request. Your instrumentation can include electronic elements, or a combination of electronic and orchestral, and should fall in the general ballpark of the references (and others like them). Your arrangements can range from Drones to Investigative to Cinematic to just about anywhere in between. Craft your Cues around a singular motif and create a sense of tension, forward motion, and interest by layering instrumentation in and out as they progress. Please be sure your production is polished and any software sounds or samples you use are high-quality and state-of-the-art.

Your submissions should be roughly 90 seconds to 2 minutes long, give or take. Non-faded, buttoned/stinger endings will work best. Do NOT copy the referenced artists or songs in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a guide for tempo, texture, and tone. Do NOT submit any material with unauthorized samples of any other artists’ music, sounds, or any other form of media. Broadcast Quality is needed.
