My corner studio

Post by jhkulberg » Sun Nov 27, 2022 5:47 am

I am sharing a room with my wife, so I have stacked everything in the corner :-) The "Northern Sky" picture to the right, is from way back when I was performing on a Nick Drake memorial concert in England. He has been a huge inspiration in my time as a singer & songwriter, before I started working with samples and instrumentals.

Nice, compact and efficient set up.. Composing all those hours while standing I bet feels better than otherwise all that sitting! Thanks for sharing.

It looks cool but also like it would sound like a terrible space to mix in , all those hard surfaces and reflections....no acoustic treatment

I am actually sitting :-) so the desk looks taller than it is. And only mixing and mastering through my beyerdynamics headphones, due to the shape of the room. Mostly working in the box.
