Something I noticed is that one of your pieces are much busier musically than the listing references. "Joyburst" is beautiful, but an entirely different mood than the reference tracks due to the 16th notes. "Blue Waltz" is also beautiful, but it has lush strings, while the listing specifically states "original Instrumentals that feature piano as their ONLY instrumentation." (listing caps, not mine) Same for "Lullaby" and "Restless Journey." Of the five forwards "Midnight Waltz" matches the listing criteria the best (based on my reading of the details and listening to the references). ....

A BLAST FROM THE PAST (for those who do homework):

This listing, S220209SD, only had 1 forward from Robert Else, according to the official forward blog and official TAXI database, and it was “Longing For Home” – Robert Else.
* "SAD, MINIMALIST PIANO & STRINGS INSTRUMENTALS and/or INSTRUMENTAL CUES"
* “Longing For Home” – Robert Else . https://www.taxi.com/members/x_S0Fwr4Ry ... g-for-home

This explains why the tracks listed above,
* Joyburst
* Blue Waltz
* Lullaby
* Midnight Waltz
* Restless Journey

do not totally match the references or this specific listing S220209SD.

The above tracks were probably forwarded for a different listing at the same time, not S220209SD, a simple confusion, so that explains the mismatch to the brief. These tracks were forwards on S220310PN, "PIANO-Based INSTRUMENTAL CUES", which is different.

Additional trivia on the track ("Longing For Home") is that it was also a forward to "CELLO-Based INSTRUMENTALS" ( D220312CE ).

Compare the briefs of the two piano-based listings:

S220209SD

SAD, MINIMALIST PIANO & STRINGS INSTRUMENTALS and/or INSTRUMENTAL CUES
This Company is searching for Instrumentals and/or Instrumental Cues in the general ballpark of these references:
"Reminiscence" by Ólafur Arnalds & Alice Sara Ott
"Compassione" by Cavallo
"Into The Abyss" by Jackson Mullane
Quoting the Company: "We are looking for greatly produced tracks with excellent performances that are representing the style and genre very well, while still staying within 'production music' rules."
Please submit modern, minimalist Piano and String Instrumentals (or Cues) with an overall sad sound and feel. Your submissions should have compelling melodies and a combination of Piano and String instrumentation. If you plan on using virtual piano or string instruments, they should sound like the real thing – anything that sounds synthetic, low quality, or obviously MIDI-driven won’t work for this request. Please be sure that your production is high-quality and modern, as well.
All submissions should be at least 1:45 minutes long and no longer than 2:45 minutes, with non-faded, buttoned endings.

S220310PN

PIANO-Based INSTRUMENTAL CUES
This Library is looking for a bunch of Instrumental Cues in the general stylistic ballpark of the following references we got directly from them:
"Fly" by Ludovico Einaudi
"Comptine d'un autre été, l'après-midi" by Yann Tiersen
Quoting the Library: "We need pieces in a range of moods from sad, humorous, tongue-in-cheek, and fun, as well as drama for driving moments. The pieces could also be jazz-adjacent. We really want to try and keep the whole show feeling like it’s scored."
Please submit top-notch Piano-based Instrumental Cues that could help set the tone in a range of scenes in a TV show. Your arrangements can include some additional instrumentation along with the piano – but please be sure that piano remains the base and focal point of your pieces. We recommend crafting your Cues around a singular motif and mood, and creating a sense of forward momentum and dynamics by layering instrumentation in and out as they progress. Your production and any software sounds or samples you use should be high-quality and fresh, as nothing dated-sounding or obviously MIDI-driven will work, here.
All submissions should be at least 90 seconds long, and can run up to 2 minutes (a little bit longer is fine). Well-crafted, buttoned/stinger endings are required – do NOT submit anything with faded endings.
