TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK OF THE GODDAMN SONG
According to internet reports 60,000 new songs are being uploaded to Spotify every day, so it's not really much to crow about as all you have to do is sign up to a digital distributor and pay for the privelege. I imagine most Taxi members have music on Spotify.

Your song has a decent hook but it's not particularly well produced or mixed and it needs a professional vocalist to really do it justice. It everything was top notch it would probably be licensable but in it's current form I don't think anyone could use it in film or TV.

Hey Chris
Cursing everyone out is definitely not the way to go. I know you for probably 15 years since my first rally around 2007. This seems to be the only song you've talked about. I did give you feedback on the song fairly recently. My personal opinion (just my opinion, FWIW) is the violence reference (even if mean in a light way), is a show stopper for commercial success, especially now. Sensitivity to anything that smacks of (no pun!) domestic violence would be untouchable. Again, that's an OPINION.

I know how much it means to you. But success in the music world is rarely about one song, it's takes writing hundreds and hundreds.

Also, it's a two way street on this forum (or anywhere). People who assist others and give feedback on their songs get the same from others. If you come here as "it's all about me" it's a recipe for being ignored.

Best,
Casey

IMO, this song could be something for a testosterone-fueled comedy - show or film. The voice could be a little clearer in the mix, but maybe that would not matter so much.

Good lord, Chris.... chill, man. This is the type of attitude that will scare every potential co-writer or producer away. I don't think anyone who reads this thread and seeing your outbursts will want to work with you, despite your recent offering of $1,000 per song (or whatever the amount was). Which is a shame, really, because I'm sure you have some more great material and I would love to see it come to fruition, and I'm sure a lot of people would like that money. But who wants to work with someone who flies off the handle like this? No amount of money is worth that.

Bottom line: I'm in your corner. I believe in you. But man..... chill!
